Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct confirmed it has made an offer to buy collapsed cake shop Patisserie Valerie out of administration.
Sports Direct announced late on Friday afternoon that it had made an offer to acquire the “trade and assets of Patisserie Holdings plc and its companies out of administration”.
