A couple were forced to flee for their lives after a group of machete-wielding men chased them on a rural road in Kenya.
The American couple were driving on the Old Kijabe Hospital Road when they turned a corner and found a white van with three armed men behind.
As they get closer to the van, the men emerge before they start chasing them while waving machetes.
Another passenger in the car can be heard shouting "DRIVE" while the quick-thinking driver begins reversing up the dirt track.
